Logo
The Dukum Inn needed an updated logo that resonated with the bars history while also having a more updated look. The breakthrough for this logo came with the idea of utilizing the handle of a beer mug to replace the D in Dukum. This allowed for a mark that kept the rustic nature of the bar and could be utilized by itself as well as with various different displays.
Process
My process began with sketches of the logo that were then transferred from paper to procreate, and then refined within adobe illustrator. The combination of Cheap Pine and CCSignLanguage were carefully chosen for the logo to help match the rustic tone sought in the logo. Poppins is meant to be utilized for all informational text such as menu items, event info, and stationary text.
